YOUR DUEL
Duel starts with the opponents standing 6 paces apart. They then use the Duel racquet to hit the Duel shuttle back and forth trying to land it on each other’s torso. The shuttle cannot be hit downwards, which makes things interesting. Trust me, I Duel for a living.
The Duel ends when one opponents lands the shuttle on the other’s torso thrice (x3) or 15 minutes 09 seconds goes by. At this point you both feel euphoric regardless of the score and that’s kind of the point. The feeling is the trophy and both opps get a magnificent one.
Duel takes 30 seconds to learn but a lot longer to master. You will be smiling and laughing a lot so you won’t notice the time passing.
There are a few other rules but they can only be shared with you in the real world by another person in The Society, so I am going to stop here.

THE APRES-DUEL GLOW
Perhaps a bit boring, but good to know.
